if we are friends on facebook then you have probably already seen this. enjoy it again.
if you are like me and you can't function when there is contention, then i encourage you not to read the comments on the actual youtube link. however, if you are feeling feisty, there is certainly a need for a positive, informed voice celebrating adoption in the comments. it's not me today (i'm drained) but, i cheerfully pass the torch onto you. go for it.

I've had to come to terms with the fact that most of these people believe as strongly as I do, only the other way. Unfortunately blaming adoption for your life's problems is a cop-out that a lot of people opt for. We're related to people who believe this. "So and so has problems because they were thrown away. Her mother didn't want her." (can you believe we still adopted?) Must be nice to have an excuse for everything. I'm sorry, but life is what you make of it. Okay, stepping down from the angry soap box.... (I've run into a lot of negative adoption stuff today, I'm a little raw.)
How can we get a copy of this minus the very ending...for use in the schools? GAH that was BEAUTIFUL! WOW.

we should all try to detach ourselves a bit, don't let anyone have power over you!

unless its good power but I'm talking of the negative comments. I didn't even go there, why let them affect me?
